Omar will graduate on December 12, 2024, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and an impressive 3.99 GPA. As he prepares to take the next step in his academic journey, Omar has been accepted into the prestigious Physician Assistant program at Baylor University, a rigorous 2.5-year program he will begin in June 2025. During his time at Texas A&M, Omar found immense fulfillment as a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader for BIOL 111, 112, and 213, a role that not only strengthened his academic foundation but also allowed him to support and inspire fellow students.

Reflecting on his time at Texas A&M, Omar cherishes the university’s vibrant culture and the close-knit community that shaped his college experience. He credits the exceptional professors in the biology department and the camaraderie he built as an SI Leader for his personal and academic growth. Outside of his academic pursuits, Omar enjoys reading, playing soccer, volunteering for his hometown toy drive, and spending quality time with his family. His advice to fellow students is simple yet profound: “Step out of your comfort zone and take the time to talk to faculty.” As Omar prepares to leave Aggieland and embark on a new chapter, he carries with him the values, memories, and friendships that made his journey unforgettable.
