Spring semesters BIOL 612 Fundamental Molecular Cell Biology
Objectives: This 3-credit course is designed to rapidly provide a firm foundation in modern biology, including molecular biology, cell biology, and genetics, for graduate students who may not have a strong background in the life sciences. The material covered in this course is the basis for many interdisciplinary studies, including bioengineering, biostatistics, bioinformatics, cancer biology, and biomedical materials and devices. This course is a combination of lectures, seminars, homework, class discussions, and conventional examinations. There are no pre-requisites.
